Neutraface No. 2 is an extension of the Neutra legacy, where form and function meet at the nexus of practicality and versatility. It is by no means intended as an improvement or replacement of the original Neutraface, but as an expansion of the original concept. Neutra’s highly sought-after residential and commercial designs have stood the test of time, as will the typography that bears his name.

Features

NEUTRAFACE NO. 2 TEXT VERSUS DISPLAY Neutraface No. 2 Text maintains the distinctive style of its Display siblings, but is enhanced for optimum legibility in text settings. The most noticeable difference is the enlarged x-height of the lowercase letters. Other, less obvious technical alterations have been made such as increased tapering in the junctions of strokes and ink traps at critical vertices to compensate for ink gain.

COMPARE NEUTRAFACE TO NEUTRAFACE NO. 2 Neutraface No. 2 is a completely reconceptualized, redrawn and re-engineered version of our venerable best-selling Neutraface collection. The new collection complements the original Neutraface by satisfying a broader range of typographic needs with stylistic nuances that express ideas clearly and accurately.

TEXT FIGURE STYLES All variations of Neutraface No.2 Text feature seven figure styles. Included are text figures for use in running text, lining figures for use with uppercase forms and small caps figures. Each of these styles is supplemented with tabular figures for use in columnar settings. Plus, superscript and subscript figures are included for use in fractions, footnotes, etc.
